Chanel A. Frias (formerly Beard) is the former Assistant Director of Foster Care for the central region of NYS for a local foster care agency. The agency served all of New York State and offers social services to families and children. Chanel managed the central region of New York that includes Binghamton and Syracuse, providing oversight and advocacy for foster children. Frias is the current CEO and Owner of B&F Therapeutic Consulting & Therapeutic Services where she serves as the lead therapist and career coach, and lead consultant for social work related services.

Frias is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Science in Social Work (BSW), and has a masters in Social Work (MSW) with a concentration on Children and Families from Clark Atlanta University. Chanel is a lover of animals, enjoys yoga, and leisure reading. Chanel is a lifelong resident of Syracuse, New York.
